 2015년 10월 본사 지하 대강당에서는 분쟁광물 관련 사용 규제 교육을 실시하였습니다.

 

 당사 간부 및 관련 임직원들이 함께한 가운데 실시된 이번 교육에서는 분쟁광물의 의미, 분쟁광물의 종류, 해당 협력사별 서약서 작성 및 규제방안 등을 중심으로 심도있게 진행되었습니다.

 

 (주)삼광은 고객사인 삼성전자와 함께 콩고민주공화국 등 분쟁지역 내에서 인권을 유린하고 있는 무장 세력의 자금원을 차단하기 위해 분쟁광물의 사용을 금지하는 산업계 활동에 적극 동참하고 있습니다.

당사는 분쟁광물 사용 금지 방침을 수립하고, 4대 광물(탄탈륨, 주석, 텅스텐, 금)이 포함된 부품·제품을 납품할 경우, 원산지를 증빙하도록 하고 있습니다. 또한 분쟁지역에서 합법적으로 거래되는 광물은 사용을 권고함으로써 해당 국가의 경제적 상황 악화 및 지역주민의 고통은 초래하지 않게 하고 있습니다.

또한 당사와 거래하고 있는 모든 협력사는 분쟁광물에 대한 사용처 등을 투명하게 공개해야하며 분쟁광물 사용 금지 서약서를 별도로 작성하도록 명시하고 있습니다.
