(삼광NEWS)-7월 25일(목) USA Summer Camp 2주차 소식을 전해드립니다. 30도의 날씨에 체감온도 44도인 뉴욕의 더운 열기속에서도 아이들은 뉴욕을 방문할 생각에 더위를 잊었나 봅니다~

 

 

 

아이들은 맨해튼에서 가장 유명한 대학인 콜롬비아 대학을 방문했습니다. 콜롬비아 대학을 상징하는 Low Memorial Library(콜롬비아 대학 중앙 도서관)에서 기념사진 한 컷~ 도서관 앞에 있는 Alma Mater(앨마 메이터)의 동상이 두 팔 벌려 환영 해주는 듯한 모습이네요~ 대학 투어 가이드는 콜롬비아 대학에서 석사공부중인 대학원생이 맡아주었으며, 대학 내 다양한 시설과 강의실을 소개하며 아이들에게 뜻 깊은 경험을 심어주었습니다. 강의실에서 아이들에게 Small 강의로 마치 콜롬비아 대학의 학생이 된 기분을 만끽하게 해주는 서비스와 함께 즐거운 추억을 만들어 주었습니다.

 

 

이어서 뉴욕에서 가장 규모가 큰 광장인 타임스퀘어로 향했습니다. 인파가 붐비는 만큼 다양한 매장들이 USA Summer Camp 일행들의 시선을 사로 잡았으며, 특히 아이들의 LINE(라인) 프렌즈와 BT21 캐릭터들이 아이들의 이목을 끌었습니다. 거대한 곰돌이 인형 앞에서 아이들은 다양한 포즈를 취하는 모습을 보여주네요~

 

 

32번가 코리아타운에서 한식으로 즐거운 저녁 식사를 하면서 일정을 마무리 하였습니다. 더 풍성한 소식으로 다음 이야기를 전해 드리겠습니다.
