“달콤한 초콜릿 드시고 좋은 하루 되세요.”


2월 10일(수) 삼광에서는 다가오는 발렌타인데이를 맞이하여 점심시간을 이용해 전 직원에게 초콜릿을 나눠주는 이벤트를 진행하였습니다.


발렌타인데이 유래는 여러가지가 있지만, 그중 가장 유력한 건 3세기경 로마의 황제와 신부 발렌타인에 관한 이야기입니다. 당시 황제가 청년들은 군대로 보낸 후 결혼을 하면 사기가 떨어진다는 이유로 결혼금지령을 내렸다고 합니다. 하지만 발렌타인 신부는 서로 사랑하는 사람이 결혼하지 못하는 현실을 안타깝게 여겨 황제의 말을 어기고 남녀를 혼인시켜 주었습니다. 이 사실을 알게 된 황제로부터 2월 14일에 순교하게 되었는데, 이를 기념하기 위해 그의 이름을 딴 발렌타인데이를 기념하기 시작하였습니다.


삼광 임직원들은 “발렌타인데이가 설 연휴랑 겹쳐서 까먹고 있었는데, 이렇게 챙겨주니 더 기분좋다.”며 “달콤한 하루가 될 것 같고 감사하다.”는 말들을 전하였습니다.


삼광은 발렌타인데이가 단순히 초콜릿을 주고 받는 행사를 즐기는 것이 아닌, 바쁜 업무 속에 직원들간의 따뜻한 애정과 응원의 메시지를 전달하는 문화를 만들어가기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 삼광 가족 모두 그 어느 때 보다 더 달콤하고 따뜻한 하루가 되었기를 바랍니다.
