[2025년 3월 10일(월)] ㈜삼광 인도사업부 김진우 대표이사와 김영관 사업부장 및 인도사업부 직원들이 노이다 신공항(제와르 국제공항)에 MLA 디렌드라 싱(Dhirendra Singh UP주 하원의원)의원의 초청을 받아 방문했다.  


현재 건설 중인 노이다 신공항은 델리 국제공항의 약 20배 규모로, 2025년 4월 개항을 목표로 하고 있으며, 1단계 완공 시 연간 1,200만 명의 승객을 수용할 수 있도록 설계되어 향후 단계적 확장을 통해 최대 7,000만 명까지 수용 가능한 대형 공항으로 발전할 계획이다. 


이번 방문에서는 MLA 디렌드라 싱(Dhirendra Singh UP주 하원의원) 의원 집무실도 찾았다. 삼광 측은 GST 환급 및 신규 영업과 관련한 업무 협조를 요청했으며, 의원 측으로부터 적극적인 지원을 약속 받았다. 


이어 김진우 대표이사는 MLA의원과 신공항을 방문하여 활주로 첫 주행하는 기회를 가졌으며, 향후 공항 발전 방향 및 관련 정보를 공유 받았다. 


이번 방문을 통해 삼광 인도사업부는 현지 네트워크를 강화하고 인도 정부 및 지역 관계자들과의 협력 관계를 더욱 공고히 할 수 있었다.
