[미국 앨라배마주 터스키기시, 2025년 5월 7일(수)] ㈜삼광 미국 사업부에 대한 본격적인 운영을 앞두고, 미국 사업부의 안정적인 초기 운영 기반 및 현지 비즈니스 강화를 위해 김진우 대표이사가 지난 5월 6일(화) 미국 사업부를 방문했다.


일정 중 향후 치안 및 보안 협력 강화를 위해 Macon County의 최고 직급 보안관이 삼광 미국 사업부를 찾아 공식적으로 인사를 나누고, 공장 시설을 직접 둘러보는 시간을 가졌다. 


공장 견학을 마친 뒤, 보안관은 김진우 대표이사에게 보안관 모자와 셔츠, 그리고 기념 핀 등 특별한 선물을 직접 전달했다.


Macon County 보안관 측은 “삼광과 같은 글로벌 기업이 우리 지역에 자리 잡게 된 것을 진심으로 환영합니다. 삼광 공장이 안정적으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 공공안전 분야에 적극적으로 협력, 지원하겠습니다.”는 소감을 밝혔다.


삼광은 앞으로도 미국 내 공공기관 및 커뮤니티와의 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축해, 안정적인 생산 운영과 지속 가능한 지역 파트너십을 병행해 나갈 계획이다.
