[2025년 10월 16일(목)] ㈜삼광이 서울 마포구 방위산업진흥회 회의실에서 열린 ‘한국방위산업진흥회 협력 간담회’에서 방산 분야의 진출 방향을 논의하며, 공식적으로 한국방위산업진흥회 회원사로 가입했다. 


최근 한·미·일 3국은 드론을 군사력의 핵심 전력축으로 삼으며 전력 체계를 재편하고 있다. 미국은 드론 시범부대를 신설해 전장 통합 운용을 시험 중이고, 일본은 해상 감시망과 소형 드론을 결합한 다층 방위체계를 구축해 중국 해군력 증강에 대응하고 있다. 한국도 50만 드론전사 양성계획과 전투용 드론 도입으로 전력 강화를 추진 중이다.

세계 군용 드론 시장은 2025년 14% 성장할 전망이며, 전체 드론 산업은 2024년 102조 원에서 2030년 229조 원 규모로 확대될 것으로 보인다. 한국 역시 2032년 146조 원 규모로 성장할 것으로 예상된다.


이에 이날 협력 간담회에서는 ㈜삼광 양춘금 고문과 기술연구소 우재욱 프로가 참여했으며, 방위산업진흥회 박동원 경영본부장, 안상남 사업본부장 등 주요 관계자가 참석했다.


간담회에서는 삼광의 방위산업진흥회 회원사 가입 절차가 완료되었으며, 향후 회원사간의 네트워크를 통해 방산 관련 정보 교류, 법률·시설 지원, 최신 뉴스 채널 연계 등 다양한 협력 방안이 논의됐다. 

또한 삼광은 국방과학연구소(ADD)의 국책과제 참여, 대학 및 스타트업과의 공동 연구개발, 미·일 방산 네트워크를 통한 수출 기회 발굴에도 나설 계획이다. 


방위산업진흥회는 삼광의 가입을 환영하며, 회원사 간 교류 중재와 정부 방산사업 참여 지원 등 실질적 지원을 약속했다.


삼광의 이번 회원사 가입은 국내외 주요 방산 기업과 협력 체계를 구축하기 위한 전략적 행보로 방위산업 네트워크에 본격 진입했다는 점에서 의미가 크며, 향후 세계 방산시장 내 새로운 성장 축으로 자리 잡을 것으로 기대된다.
