On May 31, 2024 (Friday), 6 employees of the SHARP company visited the Vietnamese division.

SHARP is a Japanese electronics manufacturer founded in 1912, manufacturing TVs, microwaves, radios, calculators, and automobile displays.

This visit was to establish a cooperative relationship to expand SCM, and a total of 6 employees from the Vietnamese division attended the event, including Cheolsoo Kim Senior president of the Global MD division, Jongdeuk Song Vice president of the Vietnamese division, the development team, and the manufacturing support/purchase sales team. 

The order of progress was in the order of company introduction, line tour, and meeting.

The line tour was conducted in the order of assembly, injection, painting, and MCT.

At the meeting, the SHARP employees said, "Currently, our SHARP has become the primary partner from the secondary partner of the U.S. finished carmaker, so we need to expand SCM. After conducting the line tour in Samkwang today, it is judged that there is enough possibility of transaction. Line composition and working environment seem to be the best factory. I hope we can mass-produce the development model in earnest when the verification is conducted and finally passed."

In response, executives and employees of Samkwang's Vietnam division said, "As SHARP has established itself as the primary partner of the U.S. automaker, Samkwang will also make efforts to provide quality and service accordingly. I hope that the verification process will proceed smoothly in the future so that continuous contact and mutual cooperation of new businesses can be established. Thank you."
