On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Samkwangwintech conducted a mandatory fire safety inspection as a partner of Hyundai Motor.

The inspection was carried out with the participation of employees from the Korea Automotive Parts Industry Promotion Foundation and Samkwang Global's HR and General Affairs Support Team.

The inspection focused on the external dust collector facilities and the painting process.

◇ Inspection Items

Hazardous Materials : Management system and permits/safety management, building structure, auxiliary facilities

Electricity : Deterioration and aging of wires, switches, circuit breakers, outlet management

Gas : Pressure regulators, vaporizers, gas containers, gas leak automatic shut-off devices

Fire Hazards : Smoking management, installation status of fire facilities

Painting : Design of the painting workshop, potential hazards, ventilation and exhaust systems, etc.

As a result of the inspection, Samkwangwintech was selected as an exemplary case for automatic fire extinguishing systems and smoking area management.

However, recommendations were made regarding the absence of sealing devices in the hazardous materials storage area and the lack of grounding in the paint supply room.

Samkwangwintech will use the results of this inspection to further strengthen its fire safety management system and will take immediate action on the recommendations to maintain a safe working environment.
