[Wise Life at Samkwang Episode 57] :: Introducing Jiye Im from the Technology Research Center~ Author사내기자 Date2024.07.03 Hit198

Hello,

I am Jiye Im, a professional working in the Planning and Operations Team at the Technology Research Center located in Gunpo.

Currently, I am responsible for managing national projects and the overall administrative tasks within the Technology Research Center, including budget management.

Although there are still tasks I am transitioning into, I am working hard to adapt quickly and become a valuable team member.

I was concerned about being the only female employee at the research center and whether I would adapt well, but I am grateful to everyone for their consideration and support :)

Moving forward, I intend to diligently explore and learn unfamiliar tasks and strive to be a harmonious team member.

As I have not been with the company for long, there are many professionals I haven't interacted with outside of my team.

I believe that "communication" is crucial not only for managing national projects, where collaboration is key, but also for efficiently handling operational tasks.

Though I sometimes feel a bit lonely being the only woman and lacking peers of my age, I hope to communicate and get along well with everyone at the research center over time.

Additionally, I aspire to be a creative person who keeps up with trends.

As various ideas and trends evolve, many companies are engaged in diverse development and research.

I aim to follow these trends, generate new ideas, and efficiently address areas needing improvement to be beneficial to everyone.

One of my interests is DIY interior design.

I often browse blogs and YouTube, and I remember recently decorating my new place with a white-toned interior.

Although physically demanding, working on tasks like molding, painting doors, and replacing flooring myself feels rewarding and fulfilling once the anticipated outcome is achieved.

I frequently watch the "Jachinmyeong" YouTube channel and use the "Today’s House" platform for inspiration.

For those struggling with interior design, these resources offer useful tips.

One of the most memorable experiences in my recent life was a trip to Yeosu this spring.

On a whim one early morning, I decided to go to Yeosu, booked a place immediately, and headed there.

It was my first time taking an impromptu solo trip, and while I was unsure about it, I found myself healing while exploring a beautiful riverside spot during a car charging break.

The leisurely and serene experience I had there has stayed with me.

I believe in not regretting things that have happened.

I think that what is meant to happen will happen, and regretting past events only leads to greater loss.

Instead of dwelling on regrets, I focus on new opportunities and achieving results, which I believe is a more beneficial approach for oneself.

I will continue to uphold this belief and strive to grow as a person. Thank you.

<Q&A>

If I had to choose one, I would opt for a friend who continuously talks about a topic no one knows.

In both scenarios, where someone keeps talking, listening to the same story repeatedly would be soul-draining.

However, with an unknown topic, it might be interesting and provide new information, making it a slightly better choice.
