[Sensible Samkwang Life Episode 58] Introducing Youngmin Seo from Samkwang's Global IT Team~ Author사내기자 Date2024.07.12 Hit225

Hello,

I'm Youngmin Seo from the Global IT Team at Samkwang.

It's been about a month since I joined the company, and I am gradually adapting to company life while learning my tasks.

I previously ran my own business and have now joined the company to utilize my major in electronic engineering.

It's been eight years since I last worked in a company, so I felt both excited and nervous.

However, thanks to the help of my colleagues, I have been able to adapt well.

The senior members, in particular, have been very generous with their advice and have shared their knowledge about the work, which has been a great help.

Currently, I am working on setting up backup solutions and cross-corporation backup of servers.

Although these tasks are new to me, I enjoy learning new things, so I'm having fun.

Along with my team duties, I am participating in On-the-Job Training (OJT) in the field to gain real-world experience.

Through this training, I am observing and learning about the problems that occur at various stages of the process.

While I am not directly responsible for this work, understanding the process helps me grasp the overall workflow and gain knowledge necessary for collaboration.

My hobby is photography.

I picked it up as a hobby in middle school following my father.

During my university years, I was in charge of photographing various events for the student council.

After graduating, I didn't have many opportunities to take photos and set aside my camera due to being busy.

However, following the advice of Executive Director Pyeongrae Kang, who actively encourages post-work hobbies, I plan to start again.

As a member of the Samkwang Global IT Team, my goal is to provide stable and smooth IT services to users and contribute to the growth and development of the organization.

I will strive to respond quickly to any issues that arise without fear, finding the best solutions and providing prompt support to users.

Thank you.

<Fun Q&A>

Please choose one and explain your reason:

Would you rather experience 24 hours of a headache or 24 hours of a toothache?

I would choose 24 hours of a headache because headaches usually go away with medication and sleep, whereas a toothache requires a visit to the dentist.

The thought of dental treatment costs gives me chills.
