On Monday, July 15, 2024, to celebrate Chobok (the first of the three hottest days of summer), Samkwang prepared Baengyetang (half ginseng chicken soup) as a special meal.

This year, Chobok falls on July 15, Jungbok (the middle of the three hottest days) on July 25, and Malbok (the last of the three hottest days) on August 14.

Chobok marks the beginning of Sambok (the three hottest days), the hottest period of the year.

It signifies a time when the heat makes it difficult to stand, as people lose their energy due to the sweltering weather.

It is the day when the intense heat of summer truly begins.

In response, Samkwang provided Baengyetang, a special summer meal, to promote the health and well-being of its employees during the hot season.

Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) is known for its warming properties, which help stabilize the body's organs and enhance resistance.
