On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, six executives from KERSEN visited the Vietnam Division to discuss business collaboration plans.

KERSEN, established in 2010, is a specialized company in precision metal manufacturing and services, producing parts for mobile phones, medical devices, and automobiles.

Attending from the Vietnam Division were JongDeuk Song, Head of the Vietnam Division JinYoung Choi, Executive Vice President of the Global New Business Division; and five employees from the Development Team, Quality Team, and Manufacturing Support/Purchasing and Sales Team.

The schedule included a company introduction, a line tour, and a meeting.

◇ Company Introduction

The company introduction covered the layout and capacity of the Vietnam Division.

◇ Line Tour

The line tour followed the sequence of assembly, injection molding, painting, and MCT.

KERSEN executives showed great interest in all processes and asked various questions.

The tour focused on automated external inspections, automated logistics systems for the assembly line, die-casting injection products, and inserts.

During the insert molding tour, KERSEN executives remarked, "Insert molding requires exceptional technical skills, and seeing it in person, we can see that Samkwang's facilities and technical prowess are outstanding."

In the meeting, Samkwang and KERSEN discussed future collaboration plans.

There was an in-depth discussion on utilization rates and future competitiveness.

KERSEN executives expressed, "Let's work together to increase each other's utilization rates in the future."
