On Thursday, July 25, 2024, in celebration of Jungbok (中伏), a special meal of herbal chicken soup was provided.

Jungbok (中伏) is the middle of the three hottest periods of summer, known as Sambok (三伏).

During this time, many people take summer vacations, enjoy various summer festivals to beat the heat, and consume nourishing foods such as Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), watermelon, and cold soybean soup to restore their energy and health.

In line with this tradition, Samkwang prepared a special meal for Jungbok, following the special meal provided for Chobok.

Employees who enjoyed the herbal chicken soup and watermelon punch expressed their appreciation, saying, "It feels like Chobok was just yesterday. Time flies so fast. Today, the temperature in Gyeongsan nearly reached 35 degrees Celsius, and the punch felt even more refreshing than usual."
