On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, Regional Police Chief Laxmi Singh and approximately 50 police officers visited the India Division.

This visit was aimed at enhancing the safety of India Division employees by strengthening security and patrolling around the company premises.

The visit included a meeting, a line tour, and a commemorative tree planting ceremony.

◇ Meeting:

During the meeting, CEO JinWoo Kim requested, "There has been an increase in Korean companies in the surrounding area recently. To enhance the safety of Samkwang employees and those of nearby companies, we request the establishment of a police post." In response, Regional Police Chief Laxmi Singh stated, "We will first set up a temporary police post. Additionally, I will propose the establishment of a nearby police station to the higher authorities."

The line tour focused primarily on the automated assembly processes.

◇ Commemorative Tree Planting:

Following Indian culture, which involves gifting bonsai to important guests, two trees were planted in the front yard of the India Division to commemorate the visit of the police chief and officers.
