On Monday, September 2, 2024, the Vietnam Business Unit held a special gift event to celebrate Vietnam’s Independence Day.

Vietnam’s Independence Day commemorates September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh declared the independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, officially marking independence from French colonial rule.

To mark this occasion, the Vietnam Business Unit distributed bags with the Samkwang logo to approximately 1,550 employees.

Employees expressed their appreciation upon receiving the bags, saying, “National Day is one of the most significant days in Vietnam, and we are grateful for the commemorative gift. We look forward to growing together with the company. The gifted bag will be very useful for commuting!”

Additionally, employees celebrated the holiday by placing small Vietnamese flags at their desks in the office.
