On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the Vietnam division held a gift-sharing event in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, known as Tết Trung Thu, is also considered a moon festival where families gather to celebrate by admiring the full moon. While Korea's Chuseok is represented by songpyeon (rice cakes), Vietnam's Mid-Autumn Festival features Bánh Trung Thu, a traditional mooncake that is commonly exchanged between families and friends about a month before the festival to convey well wishes for health and well-being. *Bánh Trung Thu: A mooncake that typically contains salted egg yolk along with fillings such as nuts, coffee, and green tea. In an effort to respect local customs, foster communication with employees, and share the warm spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Vietnam division prepared around 1,550 Bánh Trung Thu mooncakes for all employees. Employees exchanged festival greetings and gifts, expressing appreciation for each other's hard work while wishing everyone good health and happiness. Samkwang remains committed to strengthening ties with local employees and striving for sustainable growth in the future. |
