On Monday, September 23, 2024, Jongdeuk Song, Head of the Vietnam Division, along with staff from the HR and General Affairs Support Team, visited the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Bac Giang to deliver donations aimed at helping residents affected by the floods.

Since Typhoon ‘Yagi’ made landfall on September 7, Vietnam has been facing landslides and flooding. According to the Vietnamese government, approximately 330 people have been killed or are missing, and around 260,000 homes have been damaged by the typhoon.

In response to this situation, the Vietnam Division donated 100,000,000 VND to support residents in the affected areas.

Jongdeuk Song, Head of the Vietnam Division, who delivered the donation, said, “I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families and victims who have lost their loved ones and homes due to the typhoon. I sincerely hope for a swift recovery and a return to normal life for those affected.”
