Environmental Monitoring: The ongoing observation and measurement of environmental conditions such as air quality, water, soil, and ecosystems to assess pollution and overall environmental impact.

From Friday, September 27, 2024, to Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Vietnam Business Division conducted its Q3 environmental monitoring in collaboration with Môi Trường Đại Nam.

This monitoring focused on key processes, including molding, injection molding, painting, laser cutting, and CNC machining.

The primary aspects evaluated were emissions, wastewater, and air quality within the workplace.

Special attention was given to the environmental impact of injection molding and painting processes, where emissions and wastewater management are critical.

The results showed that emissions met Vietnam's environmental standards, and air quality within the workplace remained at a satisfactory level.

The wastewater treatment facilities were also operating efficiently, ensuring that discharges were within regulatory limits.

The final results of the monitoring will be released 15 days after the measurement date.

This environmental monitoring served as an important opportunity to strengthen Samkwang’s environmental management systems and to identify areas for improvement in ensuring sustainable production practices.

Moving forward, the Vietnam Business Division plans to continue regular monitoring and environmental improvement activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to further implement sustainable management practices.
