On December 5, 2024 (Thursday), the "50th Anniversary Ceremony of Samkwang Co., Ltd." was held at the Inter-Burgo Hotel.

The event was attended by approximately 720 people, including employees, their families, clients, business partners, and distinguished guests.

The ceremony included an opening, a celebration video, awards for outstanding individuals, a speech by the CEO, congratulatory remarks by guests, a donation ceremony, the declaration of the second founding of Samkwang, a performance, a celebratory concert by a popular singer, and a prize drawing.

In his commemorative speech, CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, "Samkwang was founded in the 1970s as a home-based business in Masan, Gyeongnam, and has since earned recognition as a precision molding injection company, producing Nokia cases in 1984 and Samsung mobile phone cases in 1995. Starting in 2015, we expanded into automobile parts production through continental transactions, and now we manufacture drones, e-cigarettes, e-pens, and began producing card payment terminals last year, evolving into a company capable of producing finished products.

My father and I have experienced numerous ups and downs throughout the 50-year history of the company. Without my father's rigorous management lessons, my mother's support, and the sacrifices of my family, Samkwang would not be what it is today. 

I am confident that Samkwang's success is based on the trust between our employees and the company. 

Today, I dedicate the glory of Samkwang’s 50 years to all of our employees.

I am currently focused on exploring future business opportunities.

Through extensive study and research, we need to identify what we can contribute to industries such as AI, aerospace, materials, and the silver industry. 

We live in an era of rapid and extreme uncertainty, but by sensing the flow of the world, predicting the future through innovation, and leading change, we will build a company that shapes the world beyond. 

Let's create a company that embraces diversity and is capable of anything and everything.

The awards included the Samkwang Award, Contribution Award, Excellent Partner Award, Appreciation Plaque, and a donation ceremony. The Samkwang Award, presented to individuals who made the greatest contributions to the company, was given to Hanyong Kim, from the Global HR Support Team, and Junhyung Park, from the Vietnam Business Division’s Development Team, with each receiving a cash prize of 10 million KRW.

The Contribution Award was presented to those who laid the foundation for Samkwang’s growth, including Euncheol Lee and Yongju Kim from the Injection Team, Byeongok Son and Shind Dongjin Shin from the Press Team, and Seokbong Kang and Munhong Jin from the Assembly Team.

The Excellent Partner Award was given to Samwon Tech Co., Ltd., SL Communications Co., Ltd., Taedong Tech Co., Ltd., Samun Electronics Co., Ltd., Sekwang ENG, Namyang Logistics, Sunyoung Electronics, and Yuehe (위에허), for their outstanding cooperation and business performance that contributed significantly to the growth of both parties.

Finally, the Appreciation Plaque was presented to CEO Jinwoo Kim for his strong sense of responsibility and leadership, which helped create today’s Samkwang despite challenging business conditions.

During the Hope 2025 Donation Campaign, a contribution of 10,000,000 KRW was made to the city of Gyeongsan.

In the subsequent declaration of the second founding, a new vision for the future was unveiled under the slogan "AWAKE, SEE, OVER THE ANOTHER WORLD," outlining the strategic direction in new industries such as AI, aerospace, materials, and the silver industry, aimed at leading future innovations.

Building on the foundation of its 50-year history, Samkwang plans to continue growing alongside its customers, partners, and the local community.
