At the Mentor-Mentee Ceremony, Sanghak Lee from the Wintech Division and Youngje Kim from the Global New Business Division received business card cases and smile badges.

Monthly Address by CEO Jinwoo Kim

CEO Jinwoo Kim shared the following remarks:

"This year’s Lunar New Year holiday was the longest one yet. I’m sure many of you had plenty of rest, and some may have traveled. Now, let’s make a fresh start from today.

This year is the most crucial year for Samkwang. The way we prepare for this year will determine whether we continue to grow or remain ordinary. 

To achieve success, the CEO must take the lead, followed by the executives, and together we must engage in sales efforts simultaneously. 

What we do this year will shape the next year and the year after that. 

If we miss this opportunity, Samkwang’s brand value could decline in the next two, three, or four years. 

This is the year to secure our name. If we give it our all now, a bright future is ahead of us.

Since last year, we have been receiving more orders, and when I visited the U.S. last January, I gained 100% confidence in investing there.

However, this is also part of our long-term preparations for the future, looking beyond 2026. 

Currently, former U.S. President Trump is increasing tariffs on Mexico and China.

Had we invested in Mexico last year, we would be facing significant difficulties, but fortunately, we did not. Instead, we are considering expanding into the U.S., which I believe is a great opportunity.

We must excel in what we are already doing. 

We need to outperform our competitors to a level where they cannot even think of catching up. 

At the same time, we must seek new business opportunities in AI, aerospace, materials, and the senior care industry.

ChatGPT is already highly advanced, and there are even more sophisticated versions available.

We must explore and utilize these tools to promote Samkwang to government agencies and seize new business opportunities. 

Of course, GPT itself is not the answer. It is just a reference the real answers must be found by people. 

To do so, we must keep our minds sharp, which is why continuous learning is essential.

We can no longer afford to be like a frog in a well. 

If we only focus on the company’s internal affairs, we will miss valuable external insights. 

We need to look outward and invest in our self-development. 

Every month, I emphasize self-improvement. Enhancing our skills and channeling that growth into the company is the key to success.

A healthy body leads to a clear mind. 

Take care of your health, and let’s give our best effort in 2025. If we do, 2026 will be a smooth road ahead. Let’s run with all our might!"
