[March 10, 2025 (Monday)] Samkwang's CEO Jinwoo Kim, Business Director Youngkwan Kim and employees from the India Business Division visited the Noida New Airport (Jawar International Airport) at the invitation of UP MLA Dhirendra Singh.  

Currently under construction, Noida New Airport is approximately 20 times the size of Delhi International Airport and is scheduled to open in April 2025. The airport is designed to handle 12 million passengers per year upon completion of the first phase, with plans to expand in future phases to accommodate up to 70 million passengers. 

The visit also included a meeting with UP MLA Dhirendra Singh at his office. Samkwang requested cooperation on GST refund and new business, and the lawmaker promised active support. 

Afterward, CEO Jinwoo Kim visited the new airport with the MLA and had the opportunity to drive the runway for the first time, and received information on the future development of the airport and related information. 

Through this visit, Samkwang India was able to strengthen its local network and further solidify its cooperative relationship with the Indian government and local officials.
