On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, the April monthly meeting was held.


At the mentor-mentee matching ceremony, Mr. Chang Byung Jeon from the Global MD Development Team received a business card case and a smile badge.

The outstanding employees for March were Changhoon Lee from the Global MD Development Team, who contributed to securing new customers and increasing orders, and Guiyoung Choi from the AD Development Team, who contributed to reducing costs by improving the coating jig.


At the monthly meeting, CEO Jinwoo Kim said 

“There was a big forest fire the other day, and I want to remind everyone not to use lighters, smoke, or burn anything in the company.

I traveled to the US, India, Vietnam, and China this year.

I've always said that we need to be prepared, and that's what has made us who we are today.

By the standards of our customer, Samsung, we were the first to start automation and the first to sophisticate it. 

We could have done full automation, but we did the automation that we wanted to do, and now we've made it so that other companies can't catch up, and that's our success. 

Now the ones that have automated like us are catching up and the ones that haven't are still not catching up.


We have to continue to prepare now. 

My advice is to develop your own skills because the company will support you.

If they don't, create programs in-house to hone your skills. 

You're paid professionals, and your skills drive your paycheck. Improving your personal skills is how you prepare your company.

Let's widen the gap with other companies so they can't catch up.

Right now, we have an automated line in our Vietnam division that other companies can't do.

People are saying, 'It's Samkwang, but Samkwang is different. 

It's not enough to buy equipment, we need to develop it further.

If you don't change, you will regress.


At our monthly meetings, we talk about the real world, not the global economy. 

Our problems are out there. We have to change ourselves. 

In April, we raised our food stipend, and that's another investment we've made in you so that you can eat good food and feel good about coming to work.

I hope that you will also invest in yourselves and tell us what you think we need to do and do it.


Last year China was in a slump, but this year it's catching up.

I said 25 years ago that we have to get the Indian market, and of course China is not going to come to India, but it will come from somewhere else. 

The world is moving really fast, so your personal development will lead to the development of the company, so study because the company will support you.

If it takes a while, we'll wait for you, if you show that you're trying, we'll wait for you, and we want you to know that we care about you as individuals.


We are investing in the US in auto parts.

The automotive side won't be profitable for about three years, and it's a situation where you have to keep putting money in.

I hope you are aware of these things, and the whole company will stop doing unnecessary things, stop doing things that shouldn't be done, and just do what needs to be done.

I want you to get rid of the bad ones.

There will be some employees who will be going to the United States, but Samkwang will continue to expand.

During the corona outbreak, I said that if you don't lose heart because you don't have the resources, and you develop yourself, opportunities will definitely come.

Those who can't keep up with the preparations will be culled.

Don't be a frog in a well. Prepare, prepare, prepare and succeed. 


It's April, so it's an exciting time. 

The Vietnam business in particular shouldn't get excited because things are going well right now. The same goes for India. We need to calm down.
