Ltd. held a kick-off meeting for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management consulting for a sustainable future.

The consulting is being conducted in conjunction with Samsung Electronics' Center for Win-Win Cooperation, and from April 9, 2025 (Wednesday), the day of the kick-off meeting, Samkwang will begin full-scale improvement work while receiving systematic guidance on the improvements identified.

Samkwang started ESG consulting in February and has completed on-site due diligence and organizational structure, and is currently diagnosing its own ESG level and identifying areas for improvement. 

In particular, the company plans to strengthen environmental management, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve chemical and regulated substance management systems, and focus on protecting human rights, respecting diversity, and preventing safety accidents. In addition, the company will enhance its corporate image through ethical management, fair trade, and information disclosure.

An official from Samkwang said, “This ESG management activity will be an important turning point for Samkwang to lay the foundation for sustainable growth beyond simple consulting,” adding, “We will continue our efforts as a socially responsible company.”
