[Tuskegee, Alabama, USA, May 7, 2025 (Wednesday)] Samkwang CEO Jinwoo Kim met with the local community at an official welcome meeting at Tuskegee City Hall. 

The event was organized for local political and administrative officials in Macon County to welcome Samkwang to the United States and share their intentions for future cooperation.

The reception included a local introduction by the Macon County Development Director, 

He expressed his gratitude and expectation for the company's arrival, saying that the impact of Samkwang's expansion on local economic growth is significant, and promised to actively support everything necessary, including recruitment and stabilization of the factory.

In response, Samkwang CEO Jinwoo Kim expressed his gratitude and said, “It is here in Tuskegee City that we took our first step in the U.S. We will continue to develop here, and we will become a company that grows with the local community, not just pursuing business profits. We are starting with one factory, but we will continue to establish the second and third factories. We look forward to your support.”

The welcoming ceremony was more than just a welcoming ceremony, it was also an opportunity for the successful settlement and long-term growth vision of Samkwang's U.S. division in the expectation of the local community.

Samkwang will continue to take steps as a responsible company that grows with the local economy based on sustainable partnerships with public institutions and communities in the United States.
