(May 21, 2025) Employees from the electric vehicle division of the Mahindra Group in India visited Samkwang's Indian operations and toured the production facilities and key manufacturing processes.

The Mahindra Group is a multinational conglomerate founded in 1945 in Mumbai, India, and operates businesses (automobiles, electric vehicles, IT, renewable energy, etc.) in more than 100 countries around the world, employing about 260,000 people. 

At Samkwang India, Mr. Kim Young-kwan, head of the business division, and representatives from each department guided the group through the production sites, including mold, injection, MCT, buffing, coating, CNC machining, assembly, and reliability testing, and introduced Samkwang's process-specific characteristics and technical capabilities. 

At the end of the tour, a Mahindra representative said, “Samkwang's manufacturing capabilities are very impressive, and we look forward to working with them as a primary partner in our future projects.” 

In response, Samkwang said, “We are continuously preparing to be the optimal partner based on our technology and quality responsiveness to meet the needs of our customers.”

In addition, Mahindra said that it would like to invite Samkwang employees to visit its Pune, Maharashtra plant in the future and to visit Samkwang in Korea to see its manufacturing facilities.

Samkwang and Mahindra plan to continue close exchanges and discussions to expand their strategic partnership.
