Samkwang, July 2025 Monthly Meeting Author사내기자 Date2025.07.01 Hit46 |

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the July monthly meeting was held. At the Mentor-Mentee Matching Ceremony, Chae Eun Heo, Global New Business, Kyung Hwan Noh, Global MD, Myungkyun Jung, Global AD, Dong Hoon Lee, and Jae Yeon Kim received business card cases and smile badges. The outstanding employees in June were Yangtae Kim of the Vietnam Business Unit, who contributed to cost reduction through process improvement by automating the injection process packaging, and Hyunjin Choo of the Global New Business Unit, who contributed to cost reduction by editing his own videos using AI. At the monthly meeting, CEO Jinwoo Kim said, "It's very emotional to sing the national anthem together during the monthly meeting in Vietnam. We have been able to generate profits even under unfavorable environmental conditions such as lowering unit prices and strengthening quality, and I applaud you all. We need to continue our sales activities and find more companies to do business with. To maximize the current multi-product, low-volume production structure, we need to be thoroughly prepared. The direction we need to go is multi-product, multi-enterprise, multi-model. To do that, we need to go beyond manual, we need to automate. And AI is an important tool that we can leverage to make that happen. Of course, AI isn't the answer, but it's what we need to get us there. The key is to ask questions. If you ask elementary school questions, you'll only get answers that match the questions you ask. To get the deep answers we want, we need to have the data and fundamentals in place first. This isn't just a Korean headquarters story; it's a common challenge across all of our business units. Right now, we have an automotive parts production base in Tuskegee, Alabama, USA, which is nearing completion. It will soon be in mass production, and understanding the culture, customs, and people of the country is paramount to profiting in a new environment. It's not just a matter of doing things the Korean way. So you need to prepare. You need to study. You need to learn on the ground, not from a book. You need to go to companies that have gone before you and learn from their trials and errors so that you can adapt and stabilize quickly. We would be proud of our manufacturing site and scale. In fact, many companies are surprised to see our site and say, “I didn't know there was a company like this.” We need to leverage these strengths more widely. The same goes for Vietnam. We're in the second half of the year, and we need to run more. We need to sell harder, and we need to cut back on what we can cut back on. There are many challenges ahead, such as tariffs and external pressures. We need to think about how to overcome them and make profits. This can only happen if we all pull together. We need to put all our strength into the second half of the year. But health is the most important thing. We need to stay healthy and work hard. Thank you." <Mentor-Mentee Signing Ceremony>
