[Wednesday, September 17, 2025] A meeting was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in India between Samkwang Co., Ltd. CEO Jinwoo Kim and Ambassador Lee Sungho of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to India.

Attending the meeting from the Embassy were the Commercial Attaché, Customs Attaché, and Economic Attaché. Representing Samkwang were CEO Jinwoo Kim, along with Youngkwan Kim, Head of the India Business Division; Hyunguk Lee, Manager of the HR & General Affairs Support Team; and Wonho Lee, Manager of the Finance & Accounting Team.

The meeting covered recent key issues such as tariff disputes between India and the United States and challenges faced by the India Business Division. It also served as a forum for exchanging diverse opinions on support measures and cooperation directions needed for pursuing new business ventures.

CEO Jinwoo Kim emphasized Samkwang's commitment to strengthening its long-term position in the Indian market and continuing its global growth, requesting the Embassy's continued interest and support. In response, Ambassador Sungho Lee expressed his willingness to cooperate, stating, “We will actively support companies like Samkwang to ensure they can conduct business stably in India.”

Samkwang plans to pursue continuous growth based on its global network and further solidify its position in the Indian market.
