The October monthly meeting was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. At this meeting, the establishment of a new ‘Strategic Planning Office’ was announced to drive Samkwang's strategic growth and enhance competitiveness. During the subsequent appointment ceremony, Cheolsu Kim, Head of the Global MD Division, was appointed as the Office Director alongside the new office's creation. The Strategic Planning Office will be responsible for establishing mid-to-long-term management strategies, discovering new business opportunities, and managing performance. It is poised to become a core organization driving the company's future growth and leap forward. Subsequently, Kangmin Kim, a professional from the Global New Business Team, was appointed as Global Project Manager (PM). The Global PM role is a key position overseeing projects from acquisition to successful completion, leveraging global sales, customer response, cost management, and development capabilities. This role will play a crucial part in leading the enhancement of the company's global competitiveness. At the mentor-mentee pairing ceremony, five mentees received business card cases and smile badges. In his monthly address, CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, "Today, we have newly established the Strategic Planning Office. This is not merely adding another department; it will play a vital role in consolidating the capabilities of all Samkwang business units to formulate strategies and verify their execution, ensuring we advance on the right path. However, no matter how good a policy is, it cannot succeed without the participation of all employees. I ask for your active involvement and encourage you to propose many good ideas." I recently visited the US and India business units. Starting anew is never easy. The Vietnam business unit is also facing a surge in volume and a severe shortage of human resources. I hope everyone will actively participate through rotational assignments and deployments to ensure a stable response. We currently need at least 5-6 more PM personnel.
