[Thursday, November 6, 2025] Samkwang Co., Ltd. attended the **‘2025 RoboWorld Expo’** held at KINTEX in Ilsan, held a meeting with the Korea AI Robot Industry Association (KAR) and the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement (KRI), and toured the exhibition. 

This event, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea AI Robot Industry Association (KAR), and the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, is Korea's largest specialized robotics exhibition, featuring participation from approximately 350 major institutions related to robotics (industrial, logistics, defense, personal service). 

At the expo, Global AD Division CEO Jeong Soon-baek, Advisor Yang Chun-geum, and Technology Research Institute Professional Woo Jae-wook engaged in practical cooperation discussions with officials from the Korea AI Robot Industry Association (KAR) and the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement (KIRIA). 

During the meeting with the Korea AI Robot Industry Association (KAR), Chairman Kim Jin-oh and Director Kim Jae-hwan were present. Discussions centered around a collaborative proposal from Samkwang WinTech, exploring various cooperation opportunities including robot exterior injection molding and painting, communication-connected antenna housings, AI voice recognition module housings, and smart manufacturing and automation.

The meeting with the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement involved President Ryu Ji-ho and Team Leader Lee Sang-jong. Discussions centered on the institute's support system for robot demonstration projects. The institute shared case studies of demonstration projects from various domestic and international companies and expressed a positive stance on the potential for future cooperation in supporting demonstration projects to improve robots for Samkwang's US division.

Following the meetings, Samkwang executives and employees confirmed the direction for smart manufacturing innovation through AI and robotics convergence technology, achieving tangible results in strengthening networks with the association and the Promotion Agency.

This event served as an opportunity for Samkwang to further strengthen its technological expansion and cooperative foundation in the AI and robotics industry as a global manufacturing technology company, providing a meaningful chance to explore the direction of future manufacturing innovation.
