[Tuesday, November 18, 2025] Samkwang Co., Ltd. held a snack sharing event at its headquarters to cheer on employees participating in the Vocational Education Innovation District Support Project, who are growing into the company's core technical workforce.

The Vocational Education Innovation District Support Project is led by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education, a program promoting the recruitment and development of high school graduate technical talent. Samkwang has participated in this project since 2023, consistently collaborating by providing field-centered practical experience to outstanding technical talent within the region.

Students currently participating in the Vocational Education Innovation District program are from Gyeongbuk Machinery Master High School, Pohang Iron and Steel Industrial High School, Pohang Heunghae Industrial High School, Daegu Industrial High School, and Uiseong Unitech High School. They are working in Samkwang's Manufacturing Team MCT Part, Injection Part, Assembly Part, and Equipment Maintenance Part.

Employees utilized the snack booth during their lunch break, receiving oden, fish-shaped cakes, and various beverages while expressing gratitude and encouragement to the students participating in the Vocational Education Innovation District support project.

A Samkwang representative stated, “Students hired through the Regional Innovation District project are growing into vital technical personnel for the company. We will continue to support them so they can adapt stably and demonstrate their capabilities,” adding, “We will strive to cultivate future technical talent based on industry-academic cooperation linked with the local community.”
