On Monday, December 8, 2025, the December monthly meeting and 51st anniversary founding ceremony were held, with 29 outstanding employees from the Overseas Business Division (Vietnam, India) in attendance.

At the appointment ceremony, Executive Vice President Jinyoung Choi of the Global New Business Division was appointed as Director of the Technology Research Institute.

For the Long-Service Awards, a total of 23 employees were honored for their consistent dedication and sense of mission, contributing significantly to the company's development.

Awards included: 9 employees with 10 years of service (domestic/international) received 2.5 taels of pure gold (worth 2 million won), 7 employees with 15 years received 3 taels (worth 2.5 million won), 6 employees with 20 years received 3.7 taels (worth 3 million won), and one employee with 25 years of service received 4.4 taels of pure gold (worth 3.5 million won). 

November's Outstanding Employees were selected as: Seungji Kang, a Pro from the Global Development Center, who contributed to cost savings through process improvements via product structure changes; and Hwayong Oh, a Pro from the Vietnam Business Division Manufacturing Team (Molds), who contributed to cost savings by reducing defect rates through mold structure improvements.

At the executive vehicle delivery ceremony, a vehicle was presented to Executive Vice President Yeongjun Jeong of the Global Development Center. The ceremony conveyed the shared message of growth motivation through effort and achievement to all employees.

At the mentor-mentee pairing ceremony, a total of six mentees received business card cases and smile badges.

Following this, to mark the founding anniversary, attendees watched congratulatory messages from employees celebrating the 51st anniversary and a video chronicling Samkwang's journey into the U.S. market.

CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, "Many of you were honored at today's long-service awards ceremony. I sincerely hope even more long-service employees will be recognized next year.

Fifty years is by no means a short time. Though we faced many twists and turns during that long period, I believe we were able to reach this 51st anniversary today because we overcame all those challenges together. I sincerely thank you for your hard work.

Last December, at the Fukuoka, Japan workshop and 50th anniversary ceremony, we made a declaration. Based on the three proclamations: AWAKE, SEE, OVER THE ANOTHER WORLD, we resolved to move forward targeting AI, Aerospace (Drones), Materials Industry, and Silver Industry.

Particularly in the Aerospace (Drones) field, there aren't many places domestically that manufacture drone components. It's a challenging and meaningful endeavor, one that Samkwang is currently the only company truly tackling.

The same applies to the AI sector. We are advancing development in consultation with global leader NVIDIA.

The materials industry is also a challenging field that can easily become financially burdensome.

The silver industry is likewise an area we must prepare for amid the rapidly advancing trend of an aging society.

It has been one year since this declaration was announced. I believe now is the time to reflect on how much we have changed over the past year.

Ultimately, the most crucial element in driving all this forward is people. If any employee feels they have areas needing improvement, I encourage self-development. The company will fully support your growth.

Each and every one of you is an asset and a hope for the company, the main actors who will pioneer the path ahead.

There is a saying: “One talented person can save a company.” And the power that ultimately supports that talent is perseverance. Only with perseverance can individuals grow and companies develop. Everyone, please never lose your perseverance.
