[Monday, December 1, 2025] Samkwang Co., Ltd. participated in the ‘11th Mid-Sized Business Day Commemoration Ceremony’ hosted by the Korea Mid-Sized Enterprises Association and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. ‘Mid-Sized Business Day’ is a representative annual event for the mid-sized business sector, held every year based on the 「Special Act on the Promotion of Growth and Strengthening of Competitiveness of Mid-Sized Enterprises (Mid-Sized Enterprise Act)」, which was enacted in 2014.

This year's ceremony, themed ‘Mid-sized Enterprises, United for a Greater Tomorrow!’, was organized to commend the efforts of mid-sized enterprise leaders who have pursued continuous innovation and growth.

Approximately 200 attendees, including key government officials, mid-sized enterprise representatives and executives, and officials from related organizations, gathered to celebrate the day.

During the ceremony, government awards, including the Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit, were presented to 57 individuals recognized for their contributions to the Republic of Korea's economic and industrial development and the cultivation of mid-sized enterprises. Among them, Samkwang Co., Ltd.'s Executive Vice President Choi Jin-young of the Global New Business Division received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation. Executive Director Choi Jin-young was recognized for his contributions to establishing the company's mid-to-long-term growth foundation by leading the Global New Business Division. His efforts included expanding the global customer base, discovering future growth engines, and strengthening cooperation with new overseas bases.

Samkwang Co., Ltd. plans to further enhance its competitiveness in global new businesses and expand its role as a technology-based manufacturing company, leveraging this Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation.
