[Tuesday, January 6, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. Technology Research Institute held its New Year meeting. This meeting was organized to share the institute's role and future direction for the new year and to encourage the proactive work performance and growth of research personnel.

The meeting commenced with mutual greetings, followed by the recitation of management policies and the code of conduct, and concluded with a session with the CEO. 

CEO Kim Jin-woo delivered New Year greetings and emphasized that in 2026, all research institute members must transform from a passive organization into one that thinks independently and proactively drives work. He specifically urged that, in addition to the ongoing monthly improvement proposal activities, diverse product items be actively proposed and pursued to ensure their actual implementation.

He also conveyed his hope that, having laid the groundwork for more dynamic institute activities by recruiting capable external talent, new business opportunities would be created.

Furthermore, he stated that individuals must continuously enhance their capabilities with a sense of ownership to grow their personal value, and that as individual growth directly contributes to company growth, the company would spare no effort in providing support. 

This New Year's meeting is expected to serve as a crucial opportunity to reaffirm the direction and role of the research institute and to strengthen its capabilities and organizational vitality going forward.
