[Wednesday, January 20, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. conducted a fire safety inspection in collaboration with the Korea Fire Insurance Association to prevent loss of life and property due to fire and to assess the fire safety level within its business premises. 

This inspection, part of the annual safety management activities, was conducted under the supervision of the Support Part of the Global HR & General Affairs Support Team, targeting the headquarters and Plants 2 and 3.

The fire safety inspection focused on confirming the overall safety management status, particularly of fire hazard facilities inside and outside buildings, and preemptively checking potential fire sources. Inspections were conducted on all major fire-related equipment, including discharge detectors, liquid temperature detection devices, automatic fire extinguishing systems, industrial equipment, electrical installations, fire spread prevention facilities, and fire alarm systems.

Through this inspection, Samkwang comprehensively reviewed the fire prevention equipment and safety management status across all business sites and took the opportunity to identify potential fire hazards in advance.

Samkwang Co., Ltd. plans to continue ensuring the safety of its employees through regular safety inspections and systematic management activities, while continuously strengthening its safety management system for fire prevention.
