On Monday, February 2, 2026, the 2025 Second Semester Scholarship Award Ceremony and the February 2026 Monthly Meeting were held. A total of 17 students were selected as scholarship recipients (9 university students and 8 kindergarten children). The award ceremony was conducted in the order of university students followed by kindergarten children. Scholarships were delivered separately to students who were unable to attend due to overseas assignments or personal reasons. At the appointment ceremony, Byeongha Kim was appointed as Executive Vice President of the U.S. Business Division and shared the following remarks: “Some people live with dreams, some live by sharing dreams, and some live by talking about dreams. I have decided to dream of creating profits for SAMKWANG. I will do my very best with diligence and sincerity to make this dream come true.” As an outstanding employee, Taeyeol Heo, India Business Division, Quality Team, was selected for his contribution to cost reduction through improvements in raw materials. At the mentor–mentee matching ceremony, a total of four mentees received business card cases and smile badges. In the monthly address, Jinwoo Kim, CEO, delivered the following message: “Today, we held one of our twice-a-year scholarship award ceremonies. Seeing the kindergarten children made me feel very happy. I believe it is also meaningful to see the children of our colleagues together. Executive Vice President Byeongha Kim is currently stationed at the Tuskegee plant in the United States to make it a better factory. I have high expectations and believe he will perform well on site. We also welcomed four new employees and held a mentor–mentee matching ceremony. I hope they learn well, grow, and become valuable talents of SAMKWANG. One month of 2026 has already passed. Going forward, we must always work with a sense of tension, believing that we must do more and that we can do more. I expect this year, in particular, to be a challenging one. In times like these, if we become complacent and satisfied with ourselves, we may face difficulties later. We must establish a clear super gap over our competitors. A super gap begins with the basics, starting with the ‘war against dust.’ Basic and seemingly trivial things, such as dust management, ultimately create major differences. We must manage even the areas that others tend to overlook. I also attended the workshop at the end of January and felt that our employees have grown significantly. An increase in questions shows that they are thinking more and striving to do better. We will continue to provide ongoing training. Individual growth leads directly to the growth of the company. With the Lunar New Year holiday approaching, please take good care of your health. In 2026, let us make it a year in which SAMKWANG takes another step forward by establishing a clear super gap over our competitors.”
