[Wednesday, January 28 to Thursday, January 29, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. executives and employees visited the Yoshida Ashikaga Factory in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and the Tokyo 3DECO Exhibition to benchmark current production processes and quality management systems.

Yoshida Corporation, established in 1946, is a Japanese manufacturer of cosmetic containers that also produces products for mobile devices, automotive, and home appliances.

Attending this trip were Global MD Division CEO Kim Cheol-su, Japan Office Director Jeon Byeong-su, and employees from the Development Team, Quality Team, and Manufacturing Team.

On January 28, the Samkwang delegation visited the Yoshida Ashikaga Factory to observe the entire production process and quality control operations. 

The focus was on GMP standards and cleanroom environment implementation, the entire process flow from injection molding to packaging centered on the tube container line operating in a positive pressure facility, tube injection methods and automation, step-by-step quality inspections, foreign matter management, and static electricity control points.

On January 29th, they attended the 3DECO exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight. Samkwang executives and employees visited the Yoshida booth to review in-mold and coating technologies, eco-friendly materials, and unique material designs. They also shared the latest trends in decoration films, processing and injection molding technologies, and eco-friendly/new materials. 

This benchmarking trip to Yoshida provided an opportunity to directly observe production automation levels, quality control practices, and surface processing and design technology trends in the cosmetic packaging field. It served as a valuable reference for enhancing Samkwang's future quality competitiveness and product added value.
