[Wednesday, March 25, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. conducted a company-wide fire drill. The drill was held for all employees across all factories, simulating a fire scenario, with the aim of improving initial response capabilities and strengthening safety awareness. 

In particular, smoke bombs were used to create an environment resembling a real fire, resulting in a highly realistic training experience. The drill included hands-on practice with fire extinguishers, allowing employees to experience the fire suppression process firsthand and learn proper usage and response techniques.

Additionally, the training included instruction on the use of safety descenders, providing an opportunity for employees to familiarize themselves with safe evacuation methods from high-rise buildings during emergencies. 

An employee who participated in the training stated, “By using smoke grenades to create an environment similar to a real-life situation, employees were able to participate in the training with a higher level of immersion,” adding, “I hope this serves as an opportunity to further strengthen our emergency response capabilities through training on the use of fire extinguishers and evacuation devices.”
