Samkwang Co., Ltd. Signs MOU for the Leading University Support Project Linking Vocational High Schools and Junior Colleges

[Monday, April 13, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Youngjin College to promote the “Leading University Support Project for Linking Vocational High School and Junior College Curricula.” This agreement was established to foster the early development of technical professionals suited to the industrial workforce through industry-academia collaboration between the college and the company, thereby strengthening regional industrial competitiveness and promoting employment.

Under this agreement, Samkwang and Yeongjin College plan to jointly develop and operate field-tailored curricula based on job analysis aligned with corporate needs, and expand opportunities for industry experts to participate in lectures and field training programs.

Additionally, they agreed to strengthen a practice-oriented educational environment by mutually sharing and jointly utilizing educational infrastructure, including instructors, facilities, and equipment. Furthermore, they aim to enhance students’ practical adaptability through short- and long-term field training programs, and employment agreements for some students are expected to be facilitated through the partnership-based job placement initiatives.

This initiative is expected to reduce recruitment costs and shorten the organizational adaptation period by cultivating tailored talent from the pre-hiring stage through the establishment of a linked education system connecting vocational high schools, junior colleges, and companies. It is also anticipated to have a positive impact on boosting local employment and strengthening the industrial ecosystem by fostering talent linked to the regional industry.
