[Friday, May 8, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. held an “Appreciation Day for Employees’ Parents” event at Haenaeda Country Club in Gyeongsan.

This event was organized to commemorate Parents’ Day and to express gratitude to the parents who have shown unwavering love and dedication, enabling their children to fulfill their respective roles and grow into the people they are today.

The event began with opening remarks by CEO Kim Jin-woo.

CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, “It is a great honor to welcome and greet such esteemed parents here today, and I extend my deepest respect and gratitude to all the parents present, as well as to the parents of our overseas employees.

Parents have always given the best to their children first, endured hardships themselves, and quietly protected their families’ lives over the years. It is because of the faith and love you have shown behind the scenes that our employees are who they are today.

I believe that each and every employee who is fulfilling their role and growing within the company today is a precious fruit of the love you have nurtured throughout your lives. As a leader, I keep this fact deeply in my heart, and I approach my duties with the understanding that our company today is built upon your dedication.

We feel a deep sense of responsibility, knowing that our parents have entrusted the future of Samkwang to the children they raised with such care.

That is why I believe Samkwang must become a company that puts people first, a company our families can be proud of, and a warm company where parents can feel at ease.

We will continue to create a better environment and a healthy corporate culture so that our employees can work with pride.

Today’s gathering is an occasion for us to express our deepest gratitude to our parents, who have dedicated their lives to their families. This was followed by a screening of the company’s promotional video, which introduced Samkwang’s main businesses and future growth plans.

Afterward, the event featured a choral performance by the Masan Women’s Choir of Changwon City and a concert by the Gyeongsan Philharmonic Orchestra. Following the performances, employees and parents enjoyed a dinner together and engaged in friendly conversation.

After dinner, the event continued with ice-breaking activities, comedy performances, celebratory acts, and a prize drawing. Prizes included a Samsung washer/dryer, a Samsung AI refrigerator, a Samsung AirDresser, a robot vacuum cleaner, and a Samsung TV, which heightened the event’s atmosphere amid the attendees’ anticipation and enthusiastic response.
