[Thursday, May 14, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd.’s Global HR & General Affairs Support Team Manager Kim Min-sik and Professional Oh Chang-min participated in Yeungnam University’s K-Move School overseas employment training program, titled the “Customized Training Program for Overseas Expansion Companies.” The Customized Training Program for Overseas Expansion Companies is designed to facilitate a faster recruitment process and smoother matching between companies and students. As part of the program, a company recruitment briefing session and Q&A session were held for 20 students in science and engineering fields who are interested in overseas employment and careers at global companies. Samkwang participated in the briefing session to introduce the company, its major business areas, overseas subsidiaries, and global business direction. In particular, the company presented its current status as a global enterprise operating in various fields, including IT and automotive components, drones, and OEM/ODM businesses, based on its global production bases in Korea, the United States, Vietnam, and India. Through this, Samkwang shared its competitiveness and growth potential as a company expanding overseas. During the Q&A session that followed, students asked practical questions about topics such as the organizational culture of overseas business divisions, the possibility of returning to work in Korea after overseas assignments, employee benefits, weekend work and overtime, and available positions by major. In response, Samkwang representatives explained the overseas working environment, the process of adapting to assigned roles, and the company’s approach to talent management. They emphasized that, as working at overseas subsidiaries requires close collaboration with local employees, a basic attitude of communication, responsibility, and adaptability to the field are essential. Through this briefing session, students were able to gain a deeper understanding of Samkwang’s global business direction, overseas work opportunities, and recruitment-linked process. Samkwang also had the opportunity to communicate directly with local science and engineering talent and explore possibilities for securing global talent and connecting with future recruitment opportunities. This participation served as a meaningful opportunity to expand overseas career opportunities for young talent through cooperation between local universities and companies, while also laying the foundation for discovering talent to strengthen Samkwang’s global business competitiveness.
