[Tuesday, June 9, 2026 – Wednesday, June 10, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. conducted environmental and safety consulting for Samsung Electronics partner companies in 2026.

This consulting session was conducted to assess the level of environmental and safety management at the facility and to identify potential hazards in advance. It focused on the five key EHS areas: safety, health, disaster prevention, electricity, and utilities/energy.

In the safety sector, the company reviewed equipment safety measures and the status of hazard management. In the health sector, it inspected the working environment and the current status of chemical substance management. In the disaster prevention sector, fire prevention and emergency response systems were examined, while in the electrical sector, the status of management for preventing electric shock and electrical fires was verified. In the utilities/energy sector, the operation of major utility facilities and the current status of energy management were inspected.

As a result of the consultation, Samkwang received high marks for the management of protective equipment and the operation of local exhaust systems, and was positively evaluated for its stable management practices aimed at ensuring worker safety on-site.

This consultation served as an opportunity to review the current state of environmental and safety management from an external expert’s perspective and to reaffirm the management system currently in operation. Samkwang plans to continue steadily strengthening its environmental and safety management system and to establish a workplace culture that prioritizes safety above all else.
