[Tuesday, August 25, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. held a scholarship award ceremony for the children of its employees for the first semester of 2026.

Jinwoo Kim, CEO of Samkwang Co., Ltd., has continuously operated a scholarship program since 2013 to support the education of employees’ children and alleviate the financial burden of educational expenses on their families. To date, the company has provided a total of approximately 400 million won in scholarships.

This year’s scholarship recipients include 13 college students and 13 kindergarteners, for a total of 26 students. Of these, 12—including 5 college students and 7 kindergarteners—attended the ceremony.

The ceremony proceeded in the order of college students followed by kindergarteners. Scholarship funds and certificates were presented to the recipients, and the event served as an opportunity to encourage the children of employees in their studies and new beginnings.

One employee who attended the ceremony shared, “I am deeply grateful that the company supports not only its employees but also the education and growth of their children,” adding, “This financial support is a tangible help to our families, and I believe it will also remain a meaningful memory for my child—one that brings together the company and our family.”
