[Tuesday, September 1, 2026]** Samkwang Co., Ltd. held its September 2026 Monthly Meeting.

For the **Outstanding Employee Award**, **Hanseong Lee** of the Manufacturing Team, Korea Business Division, was recognized for contributing to the company’s competitiveness through creative ideas and innovative solutions during the implementation of a new project.

For the **Improvement Proposal Awards**, **Donggyu Shin** of the Global MD Development Center was recognized for reducing defects and improving maintainability through enhancements to mold structures. **Heeuk Kim** of the MCT Part, Manufacturing Team, Global MD Division, was recognized for improving work efficiency through program development.

During the **Mentor-Mentee Partnership Ceremony**, a total of six mentees received business card holders and smile badges.

The **2026 Summer Photo Contest** also recognized three winners. The first-place winner received a KRW 300,000 Shinsegae gift certificate, the second-place winner received a KRW 200,000 gift certificate, and the third-place winner received a KRW 100,000 gift certificate. All participants also received Starbucks coupons as participation prizes.

In his monthly address, CEO **Jinwoo Kim** said:

“Thank you all for your hard work throughout the intense heat of August. Our core mobile phone business has been able to strengthen its competitiveness because we proactively invested in both personnel and equipment, while everyone, including the heads of our overseas subsidiaries, worked together toward the same goal. In particular, the Vietnam Business Division has been delivering strong results, and I hope everyone will continue working together and doing their part.

Inventory should be kept only at the level necessary for operations. Excess inventory ultimately leads to losses, so every department, including Manufacturing, must work together to manage it. Please ensure that inventory is strictly maintained at approximately three days’ worth.

AI is another area where good results cannot be achieved by asking just one or two questions. While it is important to continue asking better questions, we must now think about how to apply the answers we receive to our work and make them part of our own capabilities. I encourage everyone to continuously strengthen their ability to use AI through ongoing training.

We must also make 3J 6S part of our daily routine. In manufacturing, equipment is like the human body. Good products cannot come from an environment where equipment is covered in dust and grease or where even electrical cables are not properly organized. Good products come from a clean and well-organized workplace, so please make sure that our production sites and equipment are always kept clean and orderly.
