On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Samkwang Co., Ltd. visited Cheongsol Senior Welfare Center to carry out a community outreach activity for local senior residents in celebration of Chuseok, one of Korea’s major traditional holidays.

The event was organized to share warmth and support with elderly residents in need ahead of the Chuseok holiday and to promote a culture of giving together with the local community.

Samkwang employees visited Cheongsol Senior Welfare Center in person to deliver donated items, including financial assistance for daily living expenses and rice. They also visited individual households to personally greet the seniors, check on their well-being, and spend time with them.

During the visits, employees listened attentively to the seniors’ stories and engaged in meaningful conversations, sharing the warmth and spirit of the holiday. Beyond simply delivering donations, the event provided an opportunity for employees to connect directly with members of the local community and reflect on the true meaning of sharing and caring.

One employee who participated in the event said, “It was especially meaningful to visit the seniors in person and check on how they were doing ahead of Chuseok. Although our contribution may be small, I hope our sincere care and warm wishes were conveyed to them.”
