October 28, 2026 (Wednesday) – Samkwang Co., Ltd. received the Excellence Award in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at the 12th DX Division Global EHS Partner Day, held at the Samsung Electronics Mutual Growth Academy.

The event was attended by Executive Director Jae-il Kim of Samkwang's Global MD Division Quality Team, along with employees from the Management Support Team.

The event was organized to share the latest trends and best practices in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) with Samsung Electronics' partner companies and to strengthen their EHS management capabilities.

Samkwang received high recognition for enhancing EHS management standards across its global operations through a systematic, headquarters-led approach to integrated EHS management at its overseas subsidiaries, along with continuous improvement initiatives.

In particular, the company was honored for its contributions to accident prevention and the advancement of workplace safety culture through the ongoing identification of innovative EHS practices and continuous improvement efforts.

The event featured presentations on Samsung Electronics' EHS support policies, future directions for safety management, AI-based safety management applications, and best practices from partner companies.

This award is particularly meaningful as it recognizes Samkwang's ongoing efforts to strengthen its EHS management framework between its headquarters and overseas subsidiaries, as well as the tangible results of its continuous safety management initiatives.
